I had recently registerd for the IPC scheme under conversion option published by ICAI in the new guide lines in 2012.

As per the new scheme (amended 2012),  is GMC   a part of Article ship?. The 30 days devoted by the articled trainee for GMC course is considered as leave? Our Principal insisted us to work additional 30 days to cope up with the days utilized for attending the GMC course.

I had read some where else that,  the days attended in the GMC is a part of articleship , and no seperate leave is marked against the name. It is a part of the training and the same would be counted as the days worked . Is this notion correct?
