Quick Summary
A senior citizen is asking about the limits and tax implications of gifting money in Indian Rupees to their Non-Resident Indian (NRI) son who is visiting India. The discussion clarifies that gifts to relatives are tax-exempt. There are no restrictions on the amount that can be gifted from a father to a son, and cash gifts are permissible.

No tax on gift to relatives. it is exempted.

No restrictions on amount of gift from father to son
