Gender mistake when e-filing the return and arised demand

I made a mistake of Gender while E-filing a return. The assesse was female and through oversight while doing input the return I didnot change the Gender Male to Female. Her Total income was Rs. 2,00,767 and calculated her tax at 1,90,000 Slab, but due to Male Gender mentioned in E-return demand arrised Rs. 3180. Please advice me the procedure of rectification.

Dear friend,

Its easy to rectify now. Do the following.

Go to my returns> rectification> upload rectification form

then it wil ask for some basic details about the notice no. date etc.. just fill all those and give next

after that it will ask for the reason. Ter wil b 2 options like whose mistake brought this notice. Its ur mistake. so choose the option accordingly and change the ITR correctly by making the necessary chamges and generate XML and upload in that section. then u ll receive an acknowledgement for rectified returns.

U have the option to change this rectificied return if yo make any mistakes on this only for 7 days. after tat you cannot change the rectified returns if you make any mistakes in rectified returns.. so take care while filing the details in rectified returns and while generating xml.

thats it and you are done//

Dear Sir

I made mistake by wrongly demanded TDS in Income while online ITR filling for F Y 11-12 after the filling the ITR after due date..(dt of file Dec 2012) . so how i rectify the mistake...n correct my ITR n get Correct Ack from CPC.
