whether it may be debited to Motor Car Upkeep ledger or not.

Account head and ledger is not dependent on any nature of company. Account nomenclature is dependent not only on other factors. It can't be motor upkeep it depends on nature of the company . If the company is a car maintenance company then it's absolutely fine, otherwise not.
