Gap in articleship

Hello,

I have cleared the IPCC Grp 1 in Nov 2011 and have undergone training for 14months now.

But now I want to drop CA and apply for ATC Certifcate for which I was registered with the institute.

Can I get the certificate now ? (I am registered for 3yrs training)

Also I am going for MBA. So is there any way I can opt for a gap of 2 years?

(in case I dont get ATC now, will continue with the articleship after MBA)

Please advice as soon as possible
