Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the accounting treatment for freight charges added to customer invoices. Conventionally, these charges are reported as 'Other Income' rather than being included as part of normal sales revenue. Separate disclosures are typically made in the profit and loss account, adhering to the requirements of the Companies Act 2013.
