Can anyone plz specify the formula for directly finding the original value of a depreciable asset, depreciated by WDV method.
i.e. for exp say A machine has a wdv of Rs. 3,74,026 after 4 yrs. depreciated @ 7%. What would be the formula to directly calculate its original value?

Suppose original value Rs. 100/- than after depreciation for 4 Years @ 7% will make that Value Rs. 74.8052 you can apply this forumula to get original value. =3,74,026/74.8052*100
