Form no. 108 - A few queries.

1. Is tax audit included in "Auditing" section or "Taxation" section?

> Tax Audit is auditing, filing of the return based on it is taxation.

2. What other things are included in "Taxation"?

> Preparation and filing of ITRs, Tax consultancy, etc.

3. Preparing accounts on Tally is included in "IT" or "Accounting"?

> Accounting.

4. Can anyone give me a link to Form no. 108. The one on ICAI's site is not working.

> You got it.

5. How much does this work experience which is on this form matter?

> Does not matter. It is a part of the course and this doesn't count as work experience anywhere, unless otherwise explicitly mentioned/ recognised.

What you experienced and learned is what it matters. Form is just a formality. If you are going for some interview and if being asked about articleship, if you can explain what you did and you were honest in articleship, it will help. 

It might even help if you go for practise, but just the form and it's boxes is not much worth, atleast in my opinion.

You may want to get a separate certificate from your employer with details of work done, like client and assignment including your role, etc.. and use that for proof in your resume.

6. I have taken transfer in my first year of Articleship. So, in present form 108, I has to show complete work experience and leaves (i.e. of 3.5 years) or of presnt employer only?

> Present Employer only. ICAI has records from previous employer, i.e. form 109.
