Form 26QB correction

A person filed Form 26QB and paid the TDS on property on the day the agreement was supposed to be done. However the agreement was not signed, and is expected to be signed after about a month.

What is the further course of action in this case. Can it be cancelled and refund claimed, or can the correction of date of agreement be done?

On what amount TDS was deducted and paid ?

When the purchaser made payment to seller ?

Amount on which TDS deducted Rs. 60 lakhs. TDS Rs 60k. Agreement was supposed to be signed on 5th sept hence Form 26qb was filed and payment made on same day morning. But due to some reasons, agreement was not signed and postponed for a month. Date of agreement in form 26qb has come as 5th sept. Hope the same info is useful. Please let me know if any further details reqd. Thank you.

It cannot be cancelled and no refund possible.

Correction as such is not required.

You check 26AS of buyer and seller both . TDS entry of 60000/- will be there under 194IA
