I think the date will be the initial date of commencement of the articleship. Since later in the same page you have to report the period in the organization, there it will contain the period you serve during your current assignment.

It is the Commencement Date of articleship i.e first date of joining articleship

It is the initial date of commencement of the articleship which needs to be mentioned as commencement of articleship. It is not about the date of commencement of articleship with current employer.
