what are the Important key issues in accounts to be checked & verfied before year end March 31st, like provison for salary entry. kindly share your knowledge.

Provision for outstanding expenses like salary, wages,printing & stationery,staff wellfare expenses,govt. taxes, electricity,water charges,etc. Provision for depreciation,provision for doubtful debts, closing stock, provision for income tax, provision for divideds.
My query is
If bill for services rendered in the month of march-15 (for example security services) received in the month of april dated as 10.04.2015 to party, as per accrual system of accounting in which financial year this bill should be recorded and tds to be deducted.
