The FRM® exam is designed to measure skills and knowledge acquired to a large extent through professional experience in financial risk management or a related field. This includes professionals who are involved in controlling, analyzing, or assessing potential market, credit, and liquidity risks as well as non-market related risks.

FRM® Certification Requirements

In order to be certified as a Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) and be able to use the FRM® acronym after your name, the following is required:

  1. A passing score on the FRM® Examination.
  2. Active membership in the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
  3. A minimum of two years experience in the area of financial risk management or another related field including, but not limited to, trading, portfolio management, academic or industry research, economics, auditing, risk consulting, and/or risk technology.

 

FRM® Exam Structure

The FRM® exam is based on the core body of knowledge that contains the following topics:

  1. Quantitative Analysis (10%)
  2. Market Risk Measurement and Management (25%)
  3. Credit Risk Measurement and Management (30%)
  4. Operational Risk Management and Legal, Accounting, and Ethics (25%)
  5. Risk Management and Investment Management (10%)

What is the best institute to do Risk Management in india and abroad? Also, what is the future prospect after doing this course. Can I be able to do this as I m a Bcom gradute from delhi university. Plz someone help. thx

I am working as Programmer Analyst in a reputed Software organization since 3yrs. I am planning to shift my career.

 

I completed my BE with Computer Science Specialization.

Recently i came across the Risk Management Course.

How good is to go for it? With computer Scince background am I eligible to do this.

Currently im gettin 5pa and how good is the future for it.
