Finally relief for PE-II students

Important Announcement for students of Professional Education (Course-II) to commence their articled
training

Sub: Students who have initially registered for Professional Education (Course – II) andpassed one of the groups in Professional Education (Examination – II) can commence their articled training on successful completion of Information Technology Training (ITT)

Having regard to the hardship faced by the students of Professional Education (Course-II), the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has decided to allow Professional Education (Course-II) students who have passed one of the groups in Professional Education (Examination – II) to commence their articled training under a eligible member of the Institute in terms of Regulation 45 (1) (b) (i) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.

In view of the above, students of the following category of PE-II students can register and commence their articled training on switching over to Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) subject to completion of Compulsory Computer Training (CCT) or Information Technology Training (ITT) as under

Registered in Professional Education
(Course-II) either through graduate
route or other wise and passed one of
the groups in Professional Education
(Examination-II)

Note:
1. Articled registration fee is Rs. 2000/- to be paid while commencing articled training to the concerned Regional Office by
way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India” payable at Mumbai,
Chennai, Kolkata, Kanpur or Delhi as the case may be.
2. If student who was not completed Compulsory Computer Training (CCT), has to register for Information Technology
Training (ITT). Registration fee for ITT registration is Rs. 2000/- is to be paid to the concerned Regional Office by way
Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India” payable at Mumbai,
Chennai, Kolkata, Kanpur or Delhi as the case may be.
3. Students have to pay separate fee of Rs. 4,000/- for undergoing ITT classes to the concerned Regional ITT centres or to the
concerned ITT Branches.
Students who have passed one of the groups in Professional Education (Examination – II) will get paper wise
exemption (NOT Group wise Exemption) in Integrated Professional Competence Examination (IPCE) and have to
appear and pass remaining papers in IPCE under ‘Unit Scheme’ as given under –

IS THT REALLY WE CAN START OUR ARTICLESHIP IF WE HAVE CLEAR SECOND GROUP OF PE2. BUT ON 10 AUGUST I HAVE SUBMITTED MY CONVERSION FORM AND Rs.1500 TO INSTITUTE.. SO CAN I SEND AGAIN DRAFT OF 2000 FOR ARTICLE TRAINING. IS THAT WE HAVE TO SUBMIT ANY FORM OF ARTICLE TRAINING ALONG WITH THAT...AND WHAT MORE DOCUMENTS WE HAVE TO SEND.....AND CAN WE GIVE ATTEMPT IN IPCC IN NOV2010.... PLZ REPLY... I M WAITING FOR UR REPLY...
