Hello Members, I have two querries
(a) I have form 16 from the employer but the salary figure differs as in form 16 and what is shown in form 26AS so which one should I officially use in filing returns?
(b) Last year source of incone was from two compabies a I worked in two companies in different times so can I fill ITR1 or I have to fill ITR2?
Thankyou Sachin. so if I am filling ITR1,which figure from From 16 I should consider, (a) Gross salary OR (b) Income chargeable under the head Salaries? Because ITR2 has fields to calculate net incme from gross but ITR1 does not have. Thanx

You may file ITR-1. Note that although in ITR-2 you can see more details for calacilation but nevertheless same is applicable for ITR-1 aswell. Refer to instruction for filing the ITR
