When my friends will be eligible for FINAL as he cleared IPCC "BOTH" groups in MAY 2011 and registered for articleship on 7th September,2011 ....
So, when he will be able to give his FINAL EXAM ....?

From which date u have calulated.....
When he passed the exam,i.e.,from May 2011
or
when he starts articleship training, i.e,. Sept.'2011 ?
ur freind will be eligible for May 2014 exam as the exam eligibility is calculated from the articles date as will be completing the article in august 2014 so he can give attempt in may 2014 as it will be during his last six months of articleship
for may 14... last date of registration is 30th oct.
Since ur frnd has registered before.. he is eligible
may 2014 (in the last 6 months of articleship)
