pls help me out,me too hav the same doubt

Firstly , If you're going for just one group...go for Padhuka instead of V.K Agrawal as it covers comprehensively the whole syllabus + past examination questions + past RTP questions which can be a great advantage. Also  do Professional Ethics from V.K Agrawal as it is explained nicely in a lucid language there with almost all of the past examination questions.

Secondly AAS's are no longer applicable...they have been replaced by SA's. Their content more or less remains the same ....just their names have been changed. Do the SA's from V.K Agrawal as it is given in a brief and simple language there which is more than sufficient from exam point of view.

Thirdly , IFRS is only applicable for C.A Final New Course....so if you're in the old course...it's not applicable to you.

And lastly it is always the best idea to prepare first group from compilations especially MAFA and Accounts which is more than sufficient to clear the exams with flying colors.

And most importantly for MAFA and ACCOUNTS.....don't miss the ICAI MODULE QUESTIONS....as questions have been copy pasted from the MODULE in the past few examinations.

In January10 Students Journal published by ICAI,on page no.39,List of Institute's publications applicable for May10 exam is given. In this list, after the most of the SAs name,(Revised) is written and some SAs names are changed.R these really revised(changed)?I hv got Vinod Agrawal Sir's July09 edition book.Whether I can prepare the same SAs from that book.Wt about the newly introduced SAs like SA 450?I m an Old course CA Final student appearing in both groups in this May.Please guide me.

y u don't go for D.S. Rawat's books for SAS or AAS, whichever is applicable for u. It contains topics in easily understood language alongwith examples.
