While registering for my IPCC, I paid the fees for both the groups as well as the articleship, i.e. a total amount of Rs. 12000.

I cleared my IPCC Group 1 in theNov 2011 attempt and will be attempting the group in May 2012. So for the time being I want toregister for my articleship. I am not sure if I have to pay Rs. 2000 again for registering myself for articleship.

Someone with knowledge in this regard, please help me out!

Hi Sakshi,

We're pretty much in the same situation. I've got my form filled in and I'll have it signed tomorrow. I was confused about the 2000Rs/- articleship registration charges as well, and I also did pay 12,000Rs/- during my registration for IPCC.

After having a few conversations with my senior articles and the Chapter Office here, I was told that those who have already paid 12,000/- i.e. 10,000 + 2,000, are not required to pay any additional charges. We don't have to produce any documents, but it would be preferable if you have a copy of your Demand Draft or the Demand Draft number along with it's date, in case you're required to provide them for documentation purposes.

The Institute will take care of the rest. Just fill in the form, have it signed, and have a copy of the DD in case you're required to present it to your local Institute office.

Hope this helped.

Good luck,

Sam

Thank you Sam for the information you have provided me with... But now the problem is that I had alread gotten the DD made and I have entered the details as well in the form because nobody was clear enough on this topic in order to assist me with this issue.

I think I will have to buy another form and re-fill it and get the DD cancelled.

Anyways thank you again. :)

Sakshi,

Haha, you've got to be more careful next time. You still have a lot of time left anyway. I had to get a new form myself because I idiotically filled it in with a blue pen. Sigh, the things the Institute makes us do.

Good luck and have fun doing your articleship!

Best Regards,

Sam

u should not be confused withdue date of VAT

There is no need to pay any futher fee for artcileship if u paid Rs 12 000 for IPCC registration.

My case is same like urs.I didnt paid any fee as it was already included in IPCC registration.
