Can any one guide me about the FECB?
The basic purpose of asking the query is that a company is interested in selling its stake to any NRI. What should be the procedures and formalaties for the same and what are the ways for the investment by a foreign company/indiviual in an Indian Company?

In normal paralance the the term "FECB" is used for Foreign External Borrowings. Kindly specify what exactly you want to know about "ECB".
First and formost for purchasing of stake by NRI/Foreign Company the FDI Policy of government needs to be checked. Kindly specify the area of activity of Indian Company.
Other issues can only be discussed after the basic step of checking the investment in Indian under Automatic Route or approval route is completed.
