EGM can be held on a short notice & not on same day of notice, if consent of 95% of members entitled to attend & vote at such meeting has been obtained.
Subject to the provisions of section 101 of the Companies Act 2013, an EGM can be held on same day if the consent is obtained by 95 percent of the members holding the paid up share capital of the Company and also the members who are entitled to vote . i.e in number .
EGM can be called at shorter Notice, If 95%
Suppose notice was given on 3rd sep, 2019 to convene EGM on 3rd sep itself and before convening EGM, 95% or more consent was obtained. Then it's Ok
