Extension of articleship in new firm?

U CAN DO UR EXTENSION WITH SO OTHER CA FIRM ALSO. 

yes u can serve the extended period with other CA but transfer/termination from current firm should be as per rules prescribed.

No u can't do your extented articleship with another CA firm unless & until u join for IT training. As per transfer rule, transfer is allowed only in the first year of articleship and not in subsequent year. So it is better u talk to your current principle and request him not to extend your articleship provided you tell him to work two or three months with him.

but i dont want to take transfer... i want to do my extended period with some other CA. can i do that??

Yes u can u ll ve to take secondment....Provided ur current principal agrees.
