WE EXORTED GYPSUM TO BANGLADESH PAYING EXCISE DUTY TO THE MANUFACTURER

WE HAVE NOT COLLECTED THE ARE FORMS DUE TO IGNORANCE,

NOW WE WANT TO GET REBATE

1. CAN WE GET DUPLICATE ARE FORMS FROM MANUFACTURER ?

2. CAN WE NOW ENDORSE THE FROM FROM POINT OF EXPORT

3. WHAT TO DO PLEASE ADVICE

ARE-1 forms are must for filing of Rebate claims. During Export, forwarded ARE-1's are endorsed by customs Appraising officer with shipping bill date..etc. Also, before removing it is signed by the Excise Supdt & Inspector. So, duplicates ARE-1 & endorsement can not be done.

Solution is, firstly file FIR for loss of ARE-1, make affidivate and submit to Range for endorsement. On the same submit to Customs for onward signture with the help of CHA.

I have some more quarries,

We purchased in the month of 21_May_2009 and exported on 24_May_2009 from "Paradeep Phosphates" after paying the total Excise Duty. We exported the material to Bangladesh. Who will file the ARE-1 Form we or "Paradeep Phosphates".

Please advice, I like to thank you again in advance.
