As per the DGFT Notification 44/2009-14 dtd. 21-May-10, the exports falling under chapter 5201, the export is allowed under Export License.
I would like to know whether the export license is required for the remaining export quantity of EARC or this is applicable for new export contracts also ?

as per Dgft NOTIFICATION NO. 58/2009, DATED 17th AUGUST, 2010 , now exports is free on this item.
The contracts for export of cotton shall be registered with the Textile Commissioner prior to shipment. Clearance of cotton consignments by Customs should be after verifying that the contracts have been registered.
