Exemptions in Service Tax

Exemptions from Service Tax included in the book is also to be studied and applicable for Nov2010 exams. So dont take risk by leaving those.

Ok Thnx Krishna for quick reply. I was going through it, in that some service is given like GTA, export of goods.. I am not able to understand those. What to do??? Simple exemptions i have understood...

Mine is also same problem. But having referred to earlier papers, I didnt find much that institute has given questions from that part, but better not to take risk and atleast be full-fledge with watever extent we can study in that exemption section. But try to remember the exempted services headings atleast, so that we can atleast know whether a particular person is exempted or not. But you study it slowly, after revising for 2-3times of that section, you may feel d provisoins understood and easy. Refer Singhania also in this respect, there it may be given in some other easy way. So check that also and read the comfortable one. I like your way of answering the queries perfectly in the Forums. Yeah Krishna.. Nothing has been asked in past exams. In Singhania also same thing is given. I think small exemptions and general type will be important like exemption of small service provider, International organisation or UN, RBI etc... 

You are right if we read it 2-3 times periodically , it will become easy.

Can you please tell me how you are proceeding with Auditing??? I am having fear in that.. Kindly guide me ,how to go about it..

Thanks for the wish. Regarding Auditing no idea as of now..But my view for 2nd group is refer study module first, still if any doubts, as our seniors are advising, refer Surbhi Bansal, if u have. As of now I am giving only 1group.
