Hi everyone !!!

I'll be joining articleship in a few days time.

I would like to know what type of work do you need to do in the 1st several months?

Excitement will survive till 1 or 2 months of joining articleship only

n u will know what actually articleship is

can anyone tell me what type of accounting work can be required to do while at articleship?

If i'm ever asked to record transactions....what kind of transactions will that be?

I'm mean will that be simple transactions we used to study in 11th /12th?

hey congrats to both of u for having joined articleship ;) even m an article from bangalore ;)

Well for me this 2.5 years of articleship experience is wonderful .. feel i have learnt so much ;) but i know there is lots more ;) learning can never stop ;) well have positive attitude throughout your articleship training . Be firm . Dont act oversmart and learn to say NO at times where it is indeed required. Remember u r still a student and not an employee .

Since most of the tax audits would be over or in final stage, not sure what type of work would be given to u guys , But yeah sept is generally hectic. There will be seniors to guide you

can anyone suggest me some good firms in delhi ncr and which place is better for me to do articlship please also tell me the posative and negative points of taking articlship in delhi or fbd.

Once a CA and a Doctor after their premature death were standing before Yamraj for thier fate regarding heaven or hell. Both were found equal culprit so they were sentenced for hell by the Yamraj. Doctor was sentenced to five years of hell while the CA was sentenced for only 1 and a 1/2 years of hell. Doctor objected for this injustice being done to him. The Yamraj then replied that " CA had already suffered a hell of 3 and a 1/2 years on earth in the form of his ARTICLESHIP so we are granting him exemption for that period."

Moral: Dont forget to claim yours.....and avoid dummy....best of luck
