Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether companies can use exchange rates other than those specified by the CBIC notification for export transactions. The consensus is that companies must adhere to the exchange rates provided in the CBIC notification for all export activities. It is advised to confirm this with the CBIC help desk for absolute certainty.

No...... Company has to consider exchange rate as per CBIC notification for export , just confirm with CBIC help desk number also.

Why can't a company consider exchange rate from any other sources for their import and export. What makes CBIC rates mandatory for import and export activities.

Pleases confirm.

Many Thanks
