2. WRITE A REQUEST LETTER ADDRESSED TO CUSTOM WHERE THE EXPORT DONE BY YOU, FOR ATTEST THE EXCHANGE CONTROL COPY.
Following Documents will be submited by you:-
1. FIR of loss of documents
2.Bill of Lading
3. Any Photocopy copy of Shipping Bill, generated by the System Customs/Central Excise
4. Self Attested Invoice and Packing List .
5.Mates Receipt
6.AR-4/ARE-I, etc.
7. Bank Realisation Certificate. The proof of payment of fees as applicable under the Customs Act, 1962.
8. AN Indemnity Bond ( THE exporter to the effect that he would indemnify the Government for the financial loss if any on account of duty credit issued against lost Shipping Bills.
The Customs Authority, before allowing clearance, shall ensure that the benefit/duty credit against the same shipping bill has not been availed.
9.UNDERTAKING (on 10/- stamp paper duly Notorised An affidavit by the exporter about
the loss of Shipping Bills and an undertaking to surrender it immediately to the
concerned
