THEN AFTER I WILL TELL YOU RE-CONSTRUCTION PROCEDURE FROM CUSTOM

2. WRITE A REQUEST LETTER ADDRESSED TO CUSTOM WHERE THE EXPORT DONE BY YOU, FOR ATTEST THE EXCHANGE CONTROL COPY.

Following Documents will be submited by you:-

1. FIR of loss of documents
2. Bill of Lading
3. Any original copy of Shipping Bill, generated by the System
4. Customs/Central Excise Attested Invoice and Packing List
5. Mates Receipt
6. AR-4/ARE-I, etc.
7. Bank Realisation Certificate.
8. The proof of payment of fees as applicable under the Customs Act, 1962.

Thanks for your reply but would like to bring your notice that we have lost the whole set i.e. custom attested original Invoice, Packing List, SDF & Exchange control copy. Only we have is the xerox copies.

Hence please advise what further action we have to take.

Ramesh sir, BRC is not relavent in this case. It is about obtaining the lost copies only. �Mr. Michel, practically, Visit the customs officer along with the clearing agent who has filed the shipping bills for this export. Carry the xerox copies of all the documents which are lost and the original FIR. They may or may not generate new bills. But you can get attestation on the xerox copies which is equivalent to the originals, can be used for dgft purposes
