Adjustment of interest paid against tax payable cannot be adjusted. Interest can be adjusted only against interest
CLAIM IT AS REFUND VAI FILING REFUND APPLICATION ONLINE @ GST PORTAL
if amount not significant you can leave as it is or else claim refund from cash ledger by filing online refund application

From where you heard about interest waiver
A local lawyer told that interest is not required to be paid
please dont work with part time vat and lawyers who were practicing vat . get in touch with any CA firm. dont get into trouble

Gov has waived only.late fee for the month of July to Sep. No interest is waived.

people from ca fraternity has advised as above. We can not blame any one
