EXCEL PROBLEM

For Using V lookup u have 2 use 2 sheets, one is base sheet and the other where u want all the details regarding any particular column. like u have E Ids and name in 1st sheet, let's say 15 names and Ids,and u want 2 choose names from the 1st sheet randomly in the 2nd sheet on the basis of E Ids. u use the formula in the 2nd sheet =vlookup(select the ID column in the 2nd sheet,move on to the 1st sheet and select E Id and name column,no. of columns in 1st sheet{here2},0). if u have any problem regarding this pls ask me on the harbinder_85 @ yahoo.co.in, i'll attach the sheet for the understanding. one more thing Vlookup is vertical lookup and Hlookuup is horizontal.

Ritesh you can take help of microsoft office....you will find it in excel itself....i am sayin that coz it will help you better as it gives illustration also...try that, if it doesn't help we'll look for something else....ok.
