When the invoice value is more than Rs.50000/-, e-way bill is necessary, for inter-state supplies.
No...If intetstate sales takes place ,eway bill will be necessary irrespective of the Sales value which is less than Rs.50000/- ( Rs.50000/- limit is for Intrastate sales)....
You need to raise e-way bill when value of goods was more than Rs 50000
For interstate supply the limit is not applicable. So for every interstate supply e way bill is mandatory
