Dear Member,

Greetings of the Day.

Today we had an Interactive Session in my office, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (Barrackpore Division), on "Ethical Management" organised by our Vigiliance Department.

The session was conducted by my CMA. Jayanta Ghoshal, Sr Manager (Finance). He shared his immense knowledge with us through his beautifult powerpoint presentation. Being very close to him when i asked  if i can share this presentation on CCI, he readily gave his consent. So i am pleased to share with you this wonderful presentation. I hope all of you will be benefitted from this. And yes do give your views.

P.S.: The paintings used in the slides are creation of CMA. Jayanta Ghoshal.

Regards

Sanjay Gupta.

Whether it is not surprising that highly educated people

running the business and organizations are being forced to follow the ETHICS?

.

Why?

.

Because they were running the business following the prevalent law.

Ethics were not important for them. Now ETHICS being part of the LAW; it has gained importance.

.

Further; Law doesn't not necessarily follow the ETHICS.

.

Law may change; ethics can't.

.

Sometimes law is made ignoring the faith of a particular society. It creates clashes between the groups. Such created circumstances can never be desired by any country.

.

In today's world LAW is typical; ETHICS can't be imagined to be typical.

.

Ignorance of law becomes punishable if not followed. It assumes everyone is master of law. It is really the worst situation for the society to follow the law  which they don't know.

.

Law makers also accept that it's too typical. Typical because different courts give different intrepretations of the "written law."

.

Then why they make such law?

.

The answer to the question is : They want to remain among the important persons and it provides them hefty income!

.

MORAL EDUCATION is the need of the HOUR.....

......to be taught first to the LAWMAKERS.

.

(If they can't make the law simple; means they are not following the ethics).

In today's world a person to said to be unethical if he is not following the law.

.

The reality is : LAW IS NOT DEFINED IN CONCENTRE MANNER BEFORE IT IS IMPLEMENTED.

.

In tax matters, controversial judgments are delivered to make the assessee appellant. Next court reverses the order of the lower authority and next higher authority reverses the order of the first appeal authority.

.

Soon if it is felt not favourable to the REVENUE; the LAW is CHANGED!

.

Whether the public is living to generate REVENUES ONLY?

.

For what sake the government is made :

for social welfare or to make the society defaulters of the law?

wow...two legends of CCI sharing their views on Ethics....Made my day...
