I have to file a correction statement for Q2 of F.Y.2010-11 by updating some deductee PANs. For the said purpose, I downloaded the Consolidated file and CSI file and also downloaded the latest NSDL RPU version 3.8. I corrected the PAN in the Consolidated file by using the option "Update PAN". Afterwards, I went to "Create File" option and browsed the CSI and TDS file as well as gave the path for Error/Upload FVU file. Then, I clicked on the Validate button. However,it gave an error "T-FV-1038--Consolidated file is invalid. I again downloaded fresh CSI and Consolidated file and repeated the above process. However, I got the same error report.
Please can you help and guide me to file the correction statement.
