Dear Experts,
I am voluntarily appying for registration under Goods and Service Tax Act, 2017. However I am not even able to cross the first screen of registration where basic details of the applicant is filled.
The page shows the following error each time I enter the required details and click on submit:
"PAN and Legal Name is not matching with CBDT database. Please submit PAN and Legal Name after validating with CBDT database"
The name as per PAN Card and name as per Income Tax Login differs a bit. However I have tried to register by entering both the spellings however am getting the same error as above each time
I am facing many problems in transacting my business without GST Number. Your kind and prompt help needed.
I am very frustated with GST Helpdesk Email Id and Number as they never reply. GST Implementation is very bold move of Government of India, however such small issues makes it frustating.
