The company A is a manufacturing unit with central excise registration. They use ER-1 report. How and where will we show in the trading of goods(actually a raw material for the unit A) in ER-1. Can it be shown at the same position where the finished good's production and consumption are shown. If yes, then how will we show the trading of these goods, as these are both used for production and sales. Kindly advice.

- ER1 is related to manufacture only, not for trading, inputs cleared as such would invite duty reversal , which would be shown in cenvat credit , 0
- as the raw materials are not accounted in ER1, so there is no scope to show the sale of raw materials.
- if you are issuing dealers invoice for inputs, then u have to take dealers registration and file dealers return,
