If any employer(organization) gets itself registered in EPF voluntarily and had 2 employees at the time of registration, but later on (after 2 months) there is no employee in the establishment and proprietor himself only run the organization. What's the liability under EPF?
Employer has to pay Administrative charges of Rs 75 as the factory/establishment has no contributing member.
But as per EPF website (link: https://www.epfindia.com/site_docs/PDFs/MiscPDFs/ContributionRate.pdf ) It says adminstrative charges 75/-.
Is there any notification regarding 700/- if there is no employee?
The amount of Rs 75 refers to minimum admin charge to be paid by employer if there is no contributory member in the month.
Please refer the notification issued on 15th March, 2017.
Minimum admin charge is 0.65% on (Basic + DA) or Rs 500 whichever is higher.
