His GSTIn is active.then what can be the reason

Client Gst status is active. what can be the reason
May be the assessee has applied for cancellation of registration and due to pending proceedings the registration is currently suspended...
Actually thing is that assesse become the partner in a firm so new Gst no is provided. old partner is also the partner. but new Gst is provided.
