Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether a business operating solely through its own website falls under e-commerce regulations for tax purposes. It explores the criteria for being an e-commerce operator and advises on selecting the correct reason for registration, particularly concerning interstate supplies and compulsory registration thresholds. The consensus leans towards normal tax registration unless specific e-commerce operator criteria are met.

ECO means any person who owns , operates or manages digital or electronic facility or platform for electronic commerce .

In my view , you are not covered here .

Tax registration as normal

Thank you sir for your response , further I have dought is that if I will not cover under ecom then which option I should select while registration under column reason for registration, from my opinion it will be interstate supply because as my turnover is below the prescribed limit and i am not cover under ecom then most appropriate reason is this ,what your opinion in this regards ?
You shall get registration compulsory u/s 24 if You make taxable inter supply.
Threshold limit does not apply for e-commerce operator.
registration is mandatory.
Please let me know the reasons shown on the portal while registration

Thank you
There are three reason related to this
1. Inter state supply
2.Person liable to pay tax under sec 9 (5)
3. taxable person supplying through e commerce operator

which option is most suitable from the above ?
If compulsory registration is given, it would be best option but if not than out of above, 1st option is most suitable.

you may opt voluntary registration

Okk.....
