Doubts : gstr 9 and gstr 9c

Hi,

I have already filled my annual return for the year 2017-2018. Income was less than 2Cr. I was under impression that, I don't need to fill GSTR 9C.

Still, I am seeing it in my returns portal. Can anyone please confirm if I have to file GSTR 9C as well?

Thanks!

No u can't file...if the turnover below 2cr.
Yes it's visible to every taxpayer .

because suppose a branch have turnover 1. crore & head office turnover is 1.2 Crore so in this case both the head office & branch liable to file 9C

Hence not hide if turnover is below 2 crore

Thanks for the response. I was confused because it showed NOT FILLED. Your example cleared my doubt on why it is visible to me.

Not required to file FORM GSTR-9C of Aggregate Turnover less than Rs.2 crores. The "due date and Initiate filing" is visible to all Taxpayers.
