Aladdin is CHINESE and he marries the daughter of the Chinese emperor in the original story. The old Arabic version of the story tells a story in which an Arabian sorcerer learns that the only person who can enter into the hidden cave is a Chinese boy named Aladdin.
The story itself had to be modified; there are a lot of conflicts and dramas not suitable for young audiences. There is a lot of death by sword throughout the whole story. However the book itself is great! And you should read it whenever you get a chance.
Disney hasn’t quite gotten their facts straight about Aladdin. Or maybe they did, but decided to alter the story just like every other story they have.
Aladdin is an Arabian tale, in which Aladdin is the only one who can enter the forbidden cave. A sorcerer (Jafar) finds Aladdin and makes him enter the cave so that he can gain access to the ancient lamp. However, Aladdin is NOT Arabian! And he DOES NOT marry the daughter of the Sultan.
