i think tally is not that much important in offices...

 

but MS-Office ( specially excel and word) is must...

 

it wil help u a lot to work faster and  prove urself good

Just create a fake company in tally and try everthing you want 

Practice will make u better, but you must know basic accounting entries

I like to add one more. Learn the basics, concepts, ideas, etc,.. Journal entry, ledger, totalling, rectification entry, areas where duplications, mistakes can happen. Then just listen what boss or senior says abt the software. Plus 1% interest. In next six months you will be boss in your office as system admin. Pls remember, there are two papers called info tech and ISCA in the ca syllabus. Cloud based accounting, systems audit = almost like a doctor doing surgery.
