w.r.t notification from ICAI dated 14-June-2016, (Pls refer to the link: https://www.icai.org/new_post.H T M L?post_id=12679).
I have already registered for 4-July-2016 batch GMCS 1 whereas as per the notification I am deemed to have fulfilled the GMCS requirement as I completed my Orientation already. I have applied for cancellation online. Please advice on further process.

You are registered after the stipulated period but at the same time the Institute has clearly mentioned that students who have applied for batches commencing from 1st July, 2016 will have to undergo GMCS.
Okay, I. can confirm that you may not go through the GMCS. Just continue with your cancellation and before that do confirm it with the Institute.

I HAVE REGISTERED ON 12/08/2015 FOR ARTICLESHIP AND I WAS DONE O.T. BEFOR 2015. I HAVE TO DO GMCS 1 OR NOT?? PLEASE HELP ME.
Jaydip, you do not need to go through GMCS-I.
I have joined my articleship under direct entry on 14.02.15 and completed my orientation programme in 2012. Am I exempt from GMCS I course?
@ priyankab.You are not required to undergo GMCS-1 as you have registered for articleship after 31-12-2014
