Dear Sir/Madam,

If we apply for DIN number for new Director it's is mandatory to be signed by CA/CS??

Or any one existing Director can sign and proceed for new Director DIN allotment because in DIR-3 form "Director" option is also coming by default under Category?

Please clarify... Thanks in advance.

As per Rule 3 of the companies (appointment and qualification of director) rule 2014
form DIR-3 shall be signed and submitted by the applicant using his/her DSC &
Shall also be verified digitally by -
CS in full time employment of co or
by MD or Director or CEO or CFO of the company in which the applicant is intended to be appointed as director in co ..

hence as per the rule any director can verify ....
