Quick Summary
This discussion addresses a minor two-rupee discrepancy in the bank balance reported on an income tax return. The advice given is to always reconcile your bank statements and report the balance as per your accounts, not the bank's. Any small differences, like the one mentioned, can typically be adjusted or accounted for in the following year's return, especially considering minor rounding differences are often accepted.

Always report as per bank reconciliation statement.
@ gaddala ramesh,

As per Your query, I don't know it's from Cr or Dr balance.
Check the difference where you missed...
Add/Less in the same in next year...
You must report bank balance as per Accounts and not as per bank account.

Are you following BRS ?

1/- difference is accepted due to rounded off issue
