Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the distinctions between Company Secretary (CS) and Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) roles. A CS primarily focuses on company law compliance, while a CMA deals with cost accounting and management within manufacturing organisations. The conversation also touches upon the academic structure and professional scope of CMA, exploring its long-term benefits.

Both are two entirely different professions. CS stands for company secretary and mostly deals with the Companies Act and helps the companies in complying the Companies Act whereas CMA stands for Cost and Management Accountant and it mostly delays with Manufacturing organisations and cost audit

Can you also tell more about CMA?

A little bit of both and how it can benefit me in the long run
