Note that we are a private ltd company our IEC Number is very old i.e year 2010. Those time IEC number link only with company PAN Number not any Director Pan Number, so when after login to DGFT website for Update IEC details first time and Link to IEC with digital signature a error massage shown PAN number in DSC doesn’t match with any of the member/director/partner of the IEC.

Common Issues and Solutions: a) IEC Not Linked to DGFT Portal: Log in to dgft.gov.in → My Dashboard → Services → IEC → Migrate IEC. If PAN and IEC mismatch, file a modification request. b) IEC Not Reflecting in ICEGATE (Customs): After updating on DGFT portal, it may take 24-48 hours to sync with ICEGATE. Check ICEGATE portal and raise a helpdesk ticket if not synced. c) IEC Suspended/Deactivated: IEC requires annual update/confirmation on the DGFT portal by June 30 of each year (mandatory from 2021). Non-confirmation leads to IEC deactivation. Reactivate by updating details and paying any pending fees. d) GST-IEC Linking: Export shipping bills require IEC, and IGST refunds on exports are processed based on IEC + GSTIN linkage. Ensure IEC and GSTIN are mapped correctly in the ICEGATE/GSTN system. 4. New IEC Application: Apply online at dgft.gov.in → Services → IEC → Apply for IEC. Upload PAN, bank certificate, address proof. IEC is issued digitally within 1-2 working days. 5. No Fee for IEC Modification: IEC modification (adding GSTIN, bank details, branch details) is free of cost. |
