How to regularly revise isca

750 views 6 replies
I am unable to revise isca on regular basis. Even in last attempt I got 38 marks in isca and have 189 total in the group. I understand every chapter of ISCA but I am unable to mug up the whole thing, so I have to revise it regularly. But I am unable to do so since it takes lot of time and I am having other subjects also. So I want to know how you people use to revise ISCA on daily basis. What are your tactics to score well in ISCA

Use mnemonics (code words) and study ISCA daily for about 2 hours. Revise these mnemonics again and again. You will be able to memorize.

Hi,

I agree with you that its quite difficult to memorise what ever you have read since ISCA is a dry subject.

But the fact is, if you use present well, its a subject where you will be never denied of an exemption! So dont fear that you are just given 38 marks in your previous attempt. Have a new attitude towards the subject.

Kindly go through my previous post on Tips for preparation. If not fully;it will atleast clear you few of your confusions as regards preparation! Also, go through the following:

First thing is, divide your chapters based on weightage of marks. Half of the burden is over! now identify those chapters which you are interested in. Now read those without following any codes or etc since you are interested in those chapters and dont find any difficulty in recalling the answers. For rest of the chapters, try to have flow charts or pictorial way for recalling an answer. Now you need not be an expert in flow chart or in pictorial way of representation. You just draw in the way you feel comfortable in recalling the answer :) Thats it!

Also its the subject where you should consider reading when your mind is fresh, positive and is not preoccupied with any fears/negativities towards your exams/subject! Like early in the morning/or immediately after you have a power nap at noon/time you know is better for you to take the subject. What I am trying to convey is;have a cool attitude towards the subject. Also follow only one book. Just because you have scored lesser marks doesnt mean you need to switch the book untill and unless it lacks correct way of presenting the subject.!!

Hope you got your answer!

Have a happy preparation!
