Regular - Which seeks to do business on regular basis 

TAN - For deducting TDS under VAT

Casual - Which seeks to do business under sometime for the events like Trade Fair etc.

Ignore the application which you have already mistakenly made.

Yes..Ignore ID & PWD..make fresh application and choose dealer type as a regular dealer.

Myself Tanveer Shakeel from New Delhi and I am running business under a proprietary concern from around 1¹/² years.Now I want my firm registered under Dvat Act as a regular dealer but why are they asking for the PAN no for the firm whether it is not necessary to take PAN for the firm under proprietorship.

Please help me on this.

Yes, PAN is mandatory.

Do I have to take the PAN on the firm name.PAN card can be issued to individual name not proprietorship firm. U can hav number of proprietorship firm but PAN will be one only.

in case of proprietorship firm, PAN no. of proprietor is valid...

NO, PAN of proprietor will work in case of Proprietorship Firm

NO, PAN of proprietor i.e Your PAN will work in case of Proprietorship Firm

Copy of Aadhar

Proof of Principal Place of Business

• Electricity Bill
• Rent Agreement (If rented)
• NOC of Landlord (if rented)
• or any other proof (i.e. Proof of ownership, Telephone Bill)

Dvat registration can be done at residential area.I had set up a factory in my premises will it sufficient for this or I have to look for some commercial space

Yes you can run your business from your residence.
