Delhi vat registration

CA SONIYA AGARWAL (self practice) (2995 Points)

What is meaning of three words in delhi vat registration under the category type of dealer ,
 1. REGULAR
 2. TAN
 3. CASUAL,
which one to choose while seeking Delhi vat registration

I have initiated my application mistakenly as TAN. Though I already have a TAN number, I have got username and password on email so should I ignore it and again start with new application where dealer type is regular?

@ CA SONIYA AGARWAL

Meaning of the following terms:-

Regular - Which seeks to do business on regular basis

TAN - For deducting TDS under VAT

Casual - Which seeks to do business under sometime for the events like Trade Fair etc.

Ignore the application which you have already mistakenly made.

Advise :- Make a fresh application

Hello

Myself Tanveer Shakeel from New Delhi and I am running business under a proprietary concern from around 1¹/² years. Now I want my firm registered under Dvat Act as a regular dealer but why are they asking for the PAN no for the firm whether it is not necessary to take PAN for the firm under proprietorship.

Please help me on this.
