In 44 Ad is there is any dectuction in rent paid?
u/s 80c limit restricted to 150000 inclusive of other deduction.

If u r an individual (resident) paying tax u/s 44AD then u can't claim deduction u/s 80c .
LIC premium paid u/s 80c can't claim.
rent paid does not come under 80c -
comes under 80gg if ur not in receipt of House rent allowance.
calculation u/s 80GG.
Rent paid:
least of the following:
(1)25%of total income
(2)rent paid -10%of total income
(3)5000p.m.
rent paid can claim

rent paid towards ur house r shop rent in which ur doing business..
LIC premium paid towards u r for ur business
i am a proprietor rent paid for my business i.e shop rent
Lic premium paid towards me
rent paid towards ur shop can deduct u/s 30. under the head " Income from business/ profession".
but LIC premium paid can claim in deductions U/s 80 c ..
but if u deposit / invest in new LIC policy in the year as annuity plan can claim as deduction.
but I am not clear about the policy deposit
but LIC premium paid CAN'T claim in deductions u/s 80 c .... above spell mistake

U/s 80C clause(xvii), you can claim tution fees paid to school, college or univeristy or any other educational institution. However any amount paid as donation cannot be claimed as a deduction under the said section 80C.
