Ms.Purvi 55 years take medical ins. prem. on the health of dependant brother and major son dependant on her rupeea 5000 and 10000 paid in cash how much amount is avialbale for deduction U/S 80D

no deduction will be allowed as this amount is paid in cash, although deduction of rupees 5000 can be allowed for dependent son provided if, question mentions that medical check up expenses have been incurred by the assessee
no it is not mentioned
in such case no deduction is allowed
but assume if 10000 rupes paid by a/c paye cheque in respect of major son then deduction is allowed if yes how much
entire amount of rupees 10000 will be allowed as deduction
