Date error in itr 2 xml file

Date of Filing need to be entered in CFL Schedule of ITR for successful generation of XML.

ITR 2 Validation issue during online filing

I have been trying to file online returns ITR 2 but I get the error as –

“Please enter valid date” and on clicking on the error it takes me to the CFL screen. However, there is no clear message what needs to be done. Has anyone facing similar issue and is there a solution or workaround  for this?

Solution Found:    "Date of Filing"  for all the Years Listed, i.e. from AY 2015-16 onwards has to be filled Correctly.  Once correctly filled, error is resolved.  How to resolve, open CFL section,  Edit the date of filing each AY listed in the table.  You can get date of previously filed dates from  efile->Income Tax Returns-> View Filed Returns.    The download the excel file for ease of getting the data.
