CVD exemption

if there is an exemption on excise for procurement of refrigeration machinery for cold stores by way of notification, does that automatically imply that CVD is nil too on import of similar machinery ?

Is there always a different notification for exemption under CVD or the same notification/ procedure applies as the case in excise.
